Day 1: Drive to Serengeti Serengeti
Depart after breakfast to Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the site for Leakey's family discoveries of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Serengeti National Park is the world-famous destination and it’s the second largest in Tanzania, occupying about 14,763 sq km. The park's name Serengeti means endless plains derived from the Maasai word 'Siringiti'. Meals and overnight at lodge.
Day 2: Game drive in Serengeti national park
A full day in Serengeti, morning and after noon game drives. The trip will enable you see the most famous features of the Serengeti ecosystem ie spectacular concentration of animals found nowhere else in the world and the annual wildebeest migration. A spectacle of the Wild Beast Migartion sees more than 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thompson's gazelles trekking to new grazing lands. The brief population explosion of wildebeest produces over 8,000 calves a day before the migration starts. Meals and overnight at lodge.
Day 3: After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time.
